The first signs of Cambridge Autumn colours are on their way, and I’m getting excited! With its rich vibrant hues and warm golden sunshine, Autumn is my absolute favourite time of year for outdoor family photography in Cambridgeshire.
Clients often ask what to wear for their sessions and I love advising on colours for Autumn shoots…. warm rich tones such as deep reds, browns, oranges and yellows really add an Autumnal feel, whereas contrasting colours such as blues and purples add a vibrant contrast. I’ve created a Pinterest board that you can see here where my clients can get inspiration on what to wear for their Autumn sessions.
As the nights draw in and the weather becomes more changeable, its important to be flexible for Autumn shoots. I ask clients to bring plenty of layers so that nobody gets cold and we always have a second date in place just in case the weather turns! I also carry a secret stash of small waterproofs mats so nobody has to sit on wet or muddy grass!
